Give me a book, a kitchen, a camera, a yard to garden, a dog to love, or the outside to roam and I'll be happy.

spring!
Busy Busy Busy.
My mother is a manager (so to speak) of a company called Mitchell Realty. And one of their tenants passed away recently. Her son took what little he wanted from the house and the rest was up for grabs. So she invited me along and in the past 2 days I've brought home 3 car/truck loads full of free things. I never thought I'd be so happy someone died!
Also, we took the pets to the vet today. Minnie & Bruce both got their shots and Minnie got ointment for her infected eye (cat scratched her). Now it's off to take them to the park; today is BEAUTIFUL! It's been in the 80's all day and I'm going to soak it up!

goodbye
I need to start utilizing this thing a bit more. I've almost forgotten about it. Seems to be a good venting source since these days there aren't many others. But there's not too terribly much to vent about right now. Just my overwhelming urge to GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE. Start over, fresh. New adventures, smiles, conversations, sights, tastes, scenery, people...
I'm going to start more hobbies to keep my mind preoccupied. Gardening, photography, crafts, and cooking seem to be at the top of the list as of late. I've been baking like a madman lately.
Garrett and I are taking a trip to Colorado in a month for our 5 year anniversary. I CAN'T WAIT. aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh it'll be so good to get away. Hopefully we'll be able to scope out some apartments to get a feel for a price range. I could go now and not look back.
I'm pretty proud of myself right now. After Garrett's birthday this past October I started putting back money whenever possible. I've now acquired $650, and he has no idea at all - and IT'S ALL FOR HIM!!! I know he wants his own vehicle so badly ( and truth be told, I'm very ready for him to have one). So we've been thinking of buying an interstate-legal scooter for a minute. We're just having a really tough time with trying to save for our trip and put money to the side for this (especially with me cutting corners now and hiding what money I can : D ). So, I'm hoping by the time his birthday rolls around again, I'll be able to buy him a scooter and he'll be none the wiser : )
